PIPELINING

Pipelining

When recurring drain clogs lead to a sewer camera inspection, customers hope for the best. But, when the inspection reveals breaks, holes, or small missing sections, the sewer pipe needs attention fast.

Rehabilitating failing sewer lines is often a less expensive option than traditional replacements. Our team has been successfully completing pipelining in Hacienda Heights and the surrounding areas saving customers time, money, and providing a long lasting and fast repair option.

What is Pipelining?

Sewer lines deteriorate due to age, break from root intrusion and natural shifting of the earth, and crack from poor maintenance. When this happens, clogs and overflows occur causing further damage and constant drain repair costs.

An ideal solution to rehabilitate the pipe is an epoxy pipelining, or pipe relining. The Process of pipe relining creates a brand new highly durable pipe within the damaged line. As long as the existing sewer is mostly intact, pipelining can solve problems such as missing sections, holes, large cracks, and more.

Pipelining can restore most types of sewer materials without digging. It works by mixing an epoxy resin and catalyst on a specialty material, the liner. Once the solution has fully saturated what will become the new pipe, it is inserted into the old line through a cleanout.

The liner is then molded to the interior of the existing line with an inflatable bladder and cured in place. Curing typically takes about 4 hours, so pipelining can restore damaged sewer lines in no time.

Pipelining is durable and will warranty against root intrusion and breaks, and has a lifespan of approximately 50 years.

Pipelining is also ideal for small damages. Pipelining can be installed in full sewer lines more than 200 feet and for small sections, as small as 5 feet. It is a highly cost effective solution for restoring sewer lines and requires no digging.

Pipelining is fully trenchless and can be installed under concrete, landscaping, homes, and parking lots.

Pipelining Benefits

Trenchless No Excavation – Pipelining is non-intrusive as it does not require digging to access the damaged line. As long as there’s access through a ground area cleanout, a pipe liner can be installed and cured in place. If the home or business does not have cleanouts, often, sewer camera inspections will reveal they are buried.

Reduced Waste – Like pipe bursting, pipelining does not remove the old and damaged sewer line. Additionally, the liner material transforms into the new durable pipe, so there is very little waste disposed of in local landfills.

Eliminate Utility Damage and Soil Contaminations – Since there is no excavation and digging, there is less chance of hitting gas or utility lines, or breaking into the damaged sewer line contaminating the soils.

Small and Large Repairs – CJ Plumbing & Hydro Jetting can install pipelining in small damaged sections as well as lengthy sewer lines. If the problem is further in the line, we can still make small section repairs effectively patching holes, breaks and restoring missing sections.

Versatility – Pipelining can be applied to all types of pipes, including clay, cast iron, Drain Waste Vent lines (DWV) and can solve small repairs as well as extensive damage.

Broken and damaged sewer lines are no match for our expert pipelining in Hacienda Heights and the surrounding areas. With applications for both residential and commercial properties, it is an effective way to reduce downtime and fully restore the sewer pipe.
