This one was a full drain line replacement - kitchen sink and washer drain, both swapped out with new 2-inch ABS pipe and fittings. That means new vertical runs, new horizontal sections, and all-new fittings tied in properly. No half-measures.

Drain issues have a way of getting ignored until they can't be anymore. A slow drain becomes a backed-up drain becomes a leak under the house. By the time it gets to that point, the fix is always more involved than it would have been earlier. That's just how it goes.

What made this job a little more involved was the crawl space work. Getting under the house, working in tight clearance, and running new ABS through an older home is not a quick in-and-out. But that's exactly where cutting corners causes problems down the road - so we didn't.

ABS pipe is the right call for drain line replacements like this. It's durable, smooth on the inside for better flow, and handles the kind of long-term use a kitchen and laundry drain sees every single day. When you're replacing drain lines, the material matters just as much as the install itself.

If your kitchen sink is draining slow, your washer is backing up, or you've got any kind of drain issue that keeps coming back - that's usually a sign the pipe itself needs attention, not just a cleaning. We handle drain cleaning too, but sometimes the right fix is new pipe. We'll tell you which one applies to your situation.
