Hard water is rough on everything in your home - your pipes, your fixtures, your water heater, even your skin. In Monterey Park, we see it constantly. So when a homeowner needed a water softener installed, we made sure it was set up the way it should be, not just the easiest way to get it done.

We ran a 1-inch copper water service loop to feed the system properly. Copper was the right call here - solid, reliable, and built to last. The loop is clean and tight against the wall, exactly how it should look when the job is done correctly. No flex hose shortcuts. No sloppy connections.

For the discharge, we ran a 1.5-inch ABS drain line. That size matters. Undersizing a drain line on a water softener means the system can't flush and regenerate the way it's designed to. We've seen plenty of installs where that gets overlooked - and it causes problems down the road. We don't do it that way.

The crawl space work tells the same story. Clean copper runs, solid connections, everything properly fitted. It's the kind of work that you won't see once the job is finished, but it's exactly what determines whether a system holds up for years or starts giving you trouble. We take that seriously on every call.

A water softener is only as good as the plumbing behind it. Get that part wrong and you're setting yourself up for headaches - poor regeneration, backflow issues, premature wear on the system. We handle these installs the same way every time: right pipe sizes, right materials, no shortcuts.
