Here's a job that's more common than most homeowners realize. A worn-out tub P-trap drain pipe - the kind that starts small and quietly causes damage until you've got a real mess on your hands. By the time most people call us, there's already evidence of a leak somewhere they can see it, and the pipe itself has been struggling for a while.

That old pipe tells the whole story. The joint where the original cast material meets the newer PVC connector is heavily degraded - buildup, corrosion, and wear that made it only a matter of time before a full failure. This is exactly the kind of thing that gets patched over with a quick fix instead of being properly addressed. We don't work that way.

We pulled the old drain pipe out completely and replaced it the right way. No shortcuts, no band-aid repairs. Once the plumbing side was squared away, we repatched the ceiling where the damage had shown through - so the homeowner isn't left staring at a reminder of the problem every time they walk by.

That's the part people sometimes forget to factor in. Fixing the pipe is step one. But if the leak already worked its way into the ceiling, you're not really done until that's handled too. We take care of both, because handing a homeowner a repaired drain and a damaged ceiling isn't finishing the job.

Small plumbing issues like a failing P-trap can escalate fast - into water damage, mold concerns, and repairs that cost a lot more than they would have early on. Whether it's a drain repair, a sewer pipe issue, or a water leak you can't quite locate, we'd rather help you get ahead of it than clean up the aftermath.
